CURRENTLY WANTING | Shoes

(1,2,3,4,5,6)

Just how lovely are these shoes from Persun, I am definitively getting number one very soon. Just picture those blue point shoes with a floral 60's shift dress, and of course, a beehive hair do.

Me and Alex went for a nice stroll around the back streets in Enfield town, and came across some hidden gardens which just had the cutest flowers in. Now of course the gardens were private, and I wasn't exactly wearing the right shoes to climb over fences with and to run if we got caught haha. Next time, when I am wearing appropriate shoes, I will be going over those fences to take some lovely photos. Talking about the shoes, I was going to get the ones from Zara but after trying them on and not being able to walk in 4.2 inch heals, I went on a mission to find similar shoes with a 3.5 inch heal and I found them. Its amazing how much of a difference 0.7 makes in a heal. I was able to walk around in these all day and not get a foot ache, but I must admit, I did stack a few times but then again, I stacked on a flat laminated floor with no shoes on so I'm just usually clumsy.

Moving onto the jeans, you guys know how much I love printed trousers, so when I spotted these last month for £16 I just had to grab them. But guess what guys, they have gone down to just £10 in the sale, so you best go and grab them quickly as there's only a few size 8's left. Also what do you guys think of the heal with the trousers, do they go or not? I think they do, but I'd like to know your views to please as I'm trying out something new. BEAUTY UK

As you know, the lovely people at Beauty UK contacted me to do a review on their new products, and today I will be reviewing the new Matte-FX foundation. I'm glad they sent me the Matte-FX one, as my skin is quite oily so when I use the shine foundation, I just look sweaty and that's not really a good look now is, eek! Now lets see how this foundation got on with me...
Before
After
I was sent the Matte-FX foundation no.2 natural and I must say, it matched my skin perfectly. It's usually quite hard for me to find a colour that matches my skin tone but the people at beauty UK got it spot on. I used a brush to apply the foundation on, the formula felt soft and velvety against my skin and also it smoothed perfectly and effortlessly. It had a nice smell to it but was not over powering. The foundation covered up the parts I wanted to on my face, like around my eyes and mouth, were I have mostly uneven skin tone, but my freckles I wanted to keep showing so I am glad that the foundation did not covered those up but I'm pretty sure if I applied enough around that area, they would vanish, but who wants there freckles gone? pssh. With some matte foundation your face can become dry as the day goes on but my skin felt hydrated throughout the day and my face didn't become shiny once, which is what I personally want from a foundation. Overall I am pleased with the outcome of the foundation and would defiantly consider buying it for myself again once this pot runs out, and for only £2.99, that's a bargain right there mate.

(Top: New Look, Skirt/Cardigan: Topshop, Lipstick: Topshop in RioRio, Shoes: Clarks, Necklace c/o: Talullah Tu, Tights: TU)

I've been meaning to show you these shoes for a while now, its just I wanted to wear them on a day that I knew wouldn't rain, so after checking the weather from four different sources I took them out for a spin. But of course, this is Britain, and it showered down with rain like there was no tomorrow. Luckily, I managed to take these photos before it started to pour down with rain, then me and Alex had to run for shelter into a t-mobile store and pretend we was interested in buying a new phone for 10 mins, oh dear. That's not even the worst part of it, I then had to keep an eye on the pavement to make sure I didn't step into a puddle as I was walking to my car, I looked like an utter retard as I kept bumping into people, eek! I guess that's what I get for parking my car so far away so I don't have to pay for car park haha. Other then the rain happening yesterday, my weekend is going great, I hope everyone else is enjoying the weekend so far.

WISHLIST - Persun

(1,2,3,4,5)

I'm feeling a little bit vintage today so I put together this outfit post to hopefully put you in a vintage mood as well. Although I had to toughen the outfit up a little so hence the leopard brogues but I still think it goes with the outfit pretty well. Just picture this outfit with a beehive but your hair is still half down and curled, how nice. All items are from Persun, you should check them out, they have such nice stuff.

BEAUTY UK

The lovely people at Beauty UK contacted me and asked if I would like to review some beauty products, I obviously jumped at the chance, as I just loved the nail polish that I received in the AX Paris goodie bag here. Inside of the package I received, 3 lipsticks, foundation and an eye shadow palette. I was thinking about including everything in one post but, I think that would just be beauty overload, eek! So today I'm posting about the lipsticks.
(1,2,3)
1.
The innocent lipstick is from the wet range collection and with no trouble at all, it glided over my lips nicely. I think this shade of pink is such a lovely colour, but unfortunately, I don't think it goes with my skin tone very well! Or maybe I'm just not use to it? Anyways, I wore it for a whole day and it kept my lips feeling nourished and glossy. I also received a lot of complements on how nice it looked but I'm still not to sure on the colour for myself. I had to touch up after breakfast/lunch/dinner but that's normal with any lipstick. It didn't smudged once whilst I wore it. I'd say this kind of shade of pink is for day/night time wear as it suits both occasions quite nicely. For the kiss test, there was a lot of transfer, eek! Overall would I wear this one again? Yes.

2.
Now candy is defiantly for night time wear, I lot of people at the end of the day kept asking 'Which club you going to?' haha. This lipstick is from the matte range and it smoothed onto my lips just as well as the innocent lipstick did. Now with most matte lipsticks you start to worry if your lips get dry but this kept my lips feeling hydrated through out the day. I didn't have to touch up as much after breakfast/lunch/dinner, as it stayed on my lips much better then the innocent lipstick. I much prefer this shade of pink on myself as its most out there and I think it goes with my skin tone much better. For the kiss test, there was little transfer. Overall would I wear this one again? Yes, only for a night out.

3.
Snob has to be my most favorite lipstick out of these 3. I love the hint of pink coming through the purple, I also think this matches my skin tone perfectly. This lipstick is also from the matte range, and left my lips feeling nourished. Not once through out the day did my lips go dry, or smudged, which is exactly what you need from a lipstick. I didn't have to touch up much after my meals, as it stayed on much better than the other two lipsticks. I received much more compliments with this shade on, as people said it was more me. I also think that this shade can be worn with more outfits as its not such an out there colour. This lipstick is defiantly day time wear as I don't think its the right colour of a night time. For the kiss test, there was very very very little transfer. Overall, would I wear this one again? Hell yes.

All three of these lipsticks are formulated with a fresh minty flavour, which made my lips feel tinggerly at first like they were growing but they weren't really haha. At £3.49 each, I'd defiantly say they are worth the money and would consider buying more of the matte range.
